Tapioca starch prices
The three official price sources publish different series on different days, so all are shown with their dates.
| Source | Domestic | Export FOB | As of | vs previous week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TTSA (premium grade) | 22.10 THB/kg | USD 700/t | 29 Sep 2026 | flat (0.00%) |
| OAE (Bangkok wholesale) | 22.24 THB/kg | USD 689/t | 3-9 Aug 2026 | +0.41% / +0.22% |
| TTTA | 20.40-20.60 THB/kg | USD 645-655/t | 24 Sep 2026 | -0.40/-0.50 THB · -15/-15 USD |
TTSA has posted 37 prices so far in 2026. Each one rose or held until the price reached 22.30 THB/kg, and the only cut came on 15 Sep, to 22.10 THB. The 22 and 29 Sep postings kept that level for both domestic and export prices.
TTTA has lowered its starch band two weeks running: from 21.00-21.40 THB in its early-September tables, to 20.80-21.10 THB (17 Sep) and 20.40-20.60 THB (24 Sep). Its export band, unchanged the week before, moved down for the first time in this table.
TTSA is the starch producers’ reference price, TTTA is the trade association’s band, and OAE is a government wholesale survey, so the three need not match.

Korat’s floor slipped from 4.00 to 3.95 THB/kg on Sikhio’s quote, while the ceiling stays at 4.80 THB. Details are in the district table below.
The 3-9 Aug edition is still the newest OAE bulletin published publicly at the time of writing, so the level-1 figure is about seven and a half weeks old.
No association publishes district-level prices for the North or Central regions, so readers there should use levels 1-2 as the reference.

Vietnamese fresh roots trade in dong per degree of starch. Converted at the 30% basis for comparison with Thailand:
| Area | VND/kg at 30% | THB/kg at 30% | vs previous week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tay Ninh (incl. Cambodian roots) | 4,398-4,599 | 5.68-5.94 | ceiling -5.0 VND/degree |
| Dak Lak (Phu Yen) | 3,798-4,200 | 4.90-5.42 | floor +3.3 VND/degree |
| Quang Ngai (Kon Tum) | 3,900-3,999 | 5.04-5.16 | flat |
| Gia Lai (Binh Dinh) | 3,999-4,200 | 5.16-5.42 | flat |
| Central Vietnam | 3,000-3,048 | 3.87-3.94 | new row, no comparison |
Reference exchange rate 1 THB ≈ 774.4 VND (30 Sep 2026). Week-on-week changes are the figures the Vietnamese association states in its own table.
Baht values use this week’s exchange rate, so rows marked “flat” can differ slightly from last week’s page even when the dong price has not changed.
The bulletin says root prices delivered to Tay Ninh mills have paused, but remain well above the 2,500-2,600 VND/kg of the same period last year. Heavy rain in the Central Highlands means mills that have started the new season are receiving little feedstock.
